I'm gonna build my house around one of
these trees.
Check out the elephant bush on the right.
Look at the trunks of these trees!
Ring around the Rosies.
Typical: Landon playing in some random fountain.
These trees are sooo cool!
These garden workers were on their lunch break
(which was not McDonalds). They saw the kids
and went crazy. Touching, smiling, laughing.
Then they gave the kids some Japanese treats. Having
kids in Japan is a stark difference from having children in
Boston. In Japan you are a celebrity. In Boston you have a disease.
Shisa Dog: Seen on houses, business, parks and just
about anywhere. Magical object to ward off evil and bring
good fortune.
Observatory--reminds me of a sand castle.
These tanks were outside the aquarium and the end
of our day's journey. So we did get to see
some sea life.
Random
Audra is proud of her lego creation.
Landon's giraffe made out of Jenga blocks.
Sometimes Erin likes to play dress-up
This is what my kids do to toys donated by friends
that left the island. Landon's turbo-boost truck.
Taylor and Audra's...hmmm....not sure.
Thanksgiving 2010
We went to Oura Wan with friends for Thanksgiving. We
each got little cabins and spent a few days there.
Turkey Bowl
I don't know why I thought I could play like I was
an 18 year old athlete who didn't just have a baby.
I was pathetic and Erin still won't let me forget how
awful I played. A turkey bowl I can easily forget.
The boys are ready for their turn to play.
Even the girls got in on the action...
And Audra just blew bubbles.
The Feast
My cute Taylor
Crafts for the kids.
Neo-Park
We went to this random "zoo" over Thanksgiving Holiday.
Check out the animal selection and activities. The kids
LOVED it. So did I.
What the?
Landon being walked by the dog.
Taylor walking her dog. This was her favorite part.
A big field with dogs tied to poles for anyone to grab and take
for a stroll.
Erin wanted to give this bat a dental exam.
After Neo Park we took a detour drive home. We turned down
a dirt road (which are a dime a dozen and it's fun to take them
and see where they go). This one led to a small golf area with a view.
Taylor had 2 options for a potty break:
1. This little number or
2. Normal toilet around the corner that her dad
did some paperwork in.
She chose to hold it. I would have too.
