It was the kid's first race. They were all too cold and hungry to want to be there, but I forced it. Who wouldn't want to stand out in 60 degree weather, get a snazzy green shirt and run a mile as fast as you can? Erin stayed with Myka and Audra and Taylor. Landon and I ran it and the last lap Tay wanted in on the action. We ran it in about 10 minutes. But they didn't care about the time. The got medals and shirts and Taylor proudly wore hers for a week straight.
